Brief Description

At different Water Levels different features form at curragower falls

Big Gower

The most common feature that forms in the middle of the river. Nice head high wave with a beautiful right shoulder perfect for a guilt free front surf. The left shoulder also offers up some nice air and tends to be more retentive. All wave moves go here.Only downside is that the paddle on can be tough and it's a long walk aorund http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnuCra1zxSs

Lil Gower

Great little wave that works when Big gower is washed out. Great eddy access. Unfortuantly haven't seen as much of it since the new bund was built beside it. http://vimeo.com/11240386

Biggee Smalls/Century Wave

A Rare wave that came in during the once in one hundred year floods. It formed where lil gower normally is one of the biggest river waves paddled in Ireland and probably the best http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPEUmPfCPaY

GeeMuncher

Most people don't normally bother or even know about this hole. Located the upstream and to the surfers left of Big gower. For a brief period after Big gower finishes this hole is actually quite good. It doe's take a lot of effort to paddle over there and back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJ0qwyeJV-0

I'll fill in the details later.Orky
